HR Manager
Location: Home based with occasional travel to Manchester office
Salary: £35,000 plus benefits
Macmillan Davies are delighted to be assisting one of the UKs leading consumer law firms in identifying a truly exceptional, energetic HR Manager.
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this is a great opportunity for a Junior HRBP to take the lead in providing a HR generalist support to the busy contact centres with the support of an ER Manager.
The successful individual into the post will possess a solid contact centre background and will be used to handling tricky operational stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of the HR Manager:
*Providing comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers
*Employee relations - Running and managing formal processes with the support of the ER Manager
*Absence managing and monitoring
*Coaching and developing managers
*Providing advice and guidance to Operations Managers on HR related topics including ER case management
*Partnering with the HR team to develop and implement communications plans
*Partner with managers on performance management and talent development
*Maintain policy and services and manage policy change roll-out
*Support roll-out of HR initiatives including People Strategy
*Analyse data and provide recommendations to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment
Skills & experience required for the HR Manager:
*Excellent communication skills & ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and manage expectations
*Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees
*Significant experience working in a fast paced contact centre environment providing a generalist HR service
*Intellectual curiosity to bring new insights to the business
*Ability to work independently with confidence in own decision making
*Ability to utilise analytical HR data
*CIPD qualification, ideally level 5+
