A business in Coventry has a need for a Permanent Payroll Controller
The salary is £45.000plus company benefits

Managing a team and being on hand to process payrolls

Duties

Direct management and support to deliver accurate and timely processing of all salaries
lead, motivate and coach the payroll team to deliver agreed SLA's across the business
Provide leadership to the team through periods of change
Liaise with stakeholders within the business
Ensure the payroll team comply with the latest legislative and company policy
Ensure the payroll team adapt a customer focused approach with all transactional enquiries and assist in the completion of the final year end reports
Liaise with HMRC on matters relating to PAYE procedures
Assist with payroll impacted projects, internal and external audits and be the source of expert advice for the payroll team and wider business on all aspects of payroll processing and legislation

Skills and Experience
Notable experience managing/leading a team
Notable experience in payroll process with up to do date legislation
Notable experience to match the brief
Payroll related qualification CIPP/ equivalent
UK experience essential
