A great role is now available that is perfect for candidates that enjoy a blend of both HR Operations and Projects responsibilities. This role is with a smaller, agile, evolving Financial Services business of 240 employees that has a new Head of HR and great things are happening in the HR space.

They are looking to hire a HR Operations and Project Manager whose responsibility will be to provide overall HR support and administration service to all offices both UK and internationally and to project manage all core HR strategic initiatives such as new systems initiatives, culture change and implementing training and development practices.

We are looking for candidates that ideally have Financial Services experience however other backgrounds will be considered. Candidates must have very strong operational HR experience and have proven project delivery experience.


Operational Excellence

  • Manages the day-to-day HR operations
  • Ensures the continuous improvement of HR operations with a view to drive efficiency, automation and self service
  • Managers the day-to-day relationships with core suppliers and monitors performance/impact of their products and services
  • Works with the wider HR team to drive operational excellence across HR

Policy and Process Management

  • Ensures effective implementation of consistent HR policy and process for all locations
  • Manages the continuous improvement process of all policies and procedures and keeps up to date with legislature changes
  • Advises on policy implementation for all colleagues

HR Advisory services

  • Provides generalist support and HR guidance on HR policy and process
  • Manages maternity, paternity, and life event process for all London colleagues

Project Management

  • Project manage all key HR initiatives
  • Track, measure and report on effectiveness and impact of all initiatives


  • Contribute to all HR activity as and when needed
  • Work with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure the smooth running of the UK and HK payroll


  • Strong HR management and operational experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment
  • HR system management knowledge
  • Strong administrative and operational management skills
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with senior managers and employees
  • Build strong relationships at all levels
  • Conflict management - ability to challenge whilst maintaining collegiate relationships
