Global Payroll Director £130k to £150k + bonus - City/Remote

A leading and global Financial Services organisation are looking for an experienced Global Payroll Director to head up their Global Payroll Function.

This is a key hire for the firm and involves everything from Payroll Strategy, Transformation, Integration, Governance, Global Projects, Payroll Accounting and then leading a team to deliver the payroll dream throughout the UK, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.

This role also offers full flexible remote and agile working.

The Role:

  • Managing and developing a team of dedicated payroll professionals
  • Managing the firms UK, EMEA, APAC and LATAM payroll offering
  • Lead on all Payroll Strategy, Transformation, Governance and Payroll Operations
  • Continuous review of all payroll processes, policies and procedures across the firms global landscape to mitigate risk
  • Manage the full payroll cycle for 50 countries
  • Lead and manage all benefits compliance and reporting
  • Head up all partnerships with payroll vendors making sure that the service received is in line with all SLA's
  • Lead on all payroll implementations and acquisitions globally
  • Oversee the firms accounting for stock/shares, pensions plans and all relevant benefits
  • Making sure that SOX controls are in place and follows globally
  • Key figure in the firms annual audit and quarterly reviews
  • Key liaison with senior stakeholders HR, Finance and Legal teams

Essential Skills:

  • Must have the relevant Global Payroll skill set for this opportunity across UK, EMEA, APAC and LATAM
  • Strong management and leadership of dedicated payroll team
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll and all related practices
  • Excellent knowledge of Compensation and Payroll Accounting
  • Must have Global Payroll Vendor knowledge and be able to hold vendors to account
  • Strong Strategy, Transformation and Governance skill set
  • Strong project management and integration
  • Excellent communications skill set
  • A roll your sleeves up attitude
