This exciting and dynamic HR Advisor based in Huntingdon, Cambridge is offering a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a growing business who are outperforming their competition in the Education and training space.

This Human Resources and Personnel function are very proactive and forward thinking, looking for a like minded professional.

This market leading Education and Training brand are based in Huntingdon, Cambridge with parking on site and a great forward thinking culture. As a business they operate within the Education sector and have a great dynamic Human resources and Personnel function looking for a HR Advisor to drive HR engagement across the region and drive employee engagement with the support of a Manchester based Head Office HR team

Description

HR Advisor Duties and responsibilities;

  • Actively provides HR advise on all elements of the employee life cycle, providing relevant up to date information on policies and processes to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and judgement with regards to their teams
  • Provides generalist HR support to managers by providing coaching, constructive challenge and objective feedback, escalating more complex matters to HR Business Partners, whilst providing guidance to less experienced HR team members
  • Liaise with subject matter experts within the broader Human Resources team (e.g. Recruitment, Reward and L&D) to obtain support, lead changes or resolve issues to create a great employee experience
  • Monitors and maintains accurate records, adhering to all legislative requirements which support HR data analytics by providing insights to support the evolvement of people practices
  • Acting as a coaching on daily HR practices enabling our line managers to own the day-to-day colleague experience
  • Support the drive of a values lead culture and embed our values in all we do, coaching and guiding where these are not being lived
  • Responsible for actively participating in company performance development process to ensure knowledge and skills remain current and relevant for role whilst continuing to develop talents and strengths and address any areas of self-development

Profile

HR Advisor experience and characteristics;

  • CIPD studier or strong practical experience
  • Experienced & credible HR generalist
  • Passionate and energised team player embracing opportunities to collaborate with broader diverse teams
  • Ability to plan and prioritise within a fast-paced environment through exceptional organisational skills and time management of self and others
  • High level of written and verbal communication including presentation skills to support projects and initiatives
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office with experience in managing databases with a high attention to detail
  • Enjoys delivering outputs as part of a team
