You will play a pivotal role in helping to create, design and implement strategy and direction our client's programs which are changing the face of the organisation

Description

An Inclusion and Community Engagement Associate to:

  • With both Head of DEI and Head of CSR and in close partnership with corporate communications, you will help execute a global communications plan that raises awareness, increases understanding and drives engagement. This will include (but is not limited to) external and internal content curation for our client's various channels, platforms, websites and reports, producing key message documents, sourcing stories and writing articles, project managing key DEI and CSR campaigns, drafting copy, answering queries, measuring and tracking of communications activity
  • Support the delivery of consistent and robust operating model for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and our client's Community Global Champions that will align processes including communications, development of tool-kits, budgeting, implementing initiatives and monitoring on key ERG metrics
  • Manage bench-marking, reporting and award requirement while serving as a point of contact with external partnerships creating links and aligning activities across DEI and our client Community wherever possible
  • Program development, working with the Head of DEI and Head of CSR to identify new partnerships and projects that reflect our client's commitment and mission
  • Collate, analyse and evaluate DEI and CSR metrics to measure initiatives and engage the business
  • Support for our client's Global Giving Platform
  • Co-ordination and support for Governance systems across both DEI and CSR.
  • Ad hoc program / special project support.

Profile

An Inclusion and Community Engagement Associate with:

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Human Resources, Communications or Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability or related field is preferred
  • Significance in this or a similar role
  • Experience of project management and solution deployment of DEI and CSR activities within a corporate environment
  • Experience of working with the non-profit sector
  • An understanding of CSR, DEI and ESG more broadly
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (direct experience of communications and marketing preferred)
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
  • Strong project management skills, keen eye for detail with a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources, CSR, DEI metrics and analytics
  • Flexible and adaptable self-starter, comfortable operating and delivering successful outcomes within small teams
  • Understanding of geographical and cultural difference and sensitivity
  • Exemplary integrity, independence and resilience
  • Familiarity with the Financial Services industry

Position Complexity

  • This position requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple projects across two functions often with competing deadlines and different reporting requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working within both DEI and CSR programs within a corporate environment
  • This position requires excellent written communications and the ability to present. The successful candidate will be comfortable liaising with individuals from a broad range of backgrounds, across businesses and at all levels
  • This position will need to be aware of all programs, activities and priorities for the departments identifying opportunities for collaboration and joining the dots wherever appropriate
  • This position will require the ability to juggle competing priorities and limited resources.
