Interim HRIS Project Implementation Manager - 6 months - Remote & some office - North Notts/Lincoln border

Interim HRIS Project Lead / Implementation Manager - 6 month Interim role - North Notts/Lincoln border.
£400-£500 / per day

Your new company
A organisation within the public sector / N4P area is going through a new system project - an integrated HR and Payroll system and require an experienced Interim HR Project / Systems Manager to manage the project.

Your new role
This role will be the main POC and lead for the HR & System Implementation project - working with the internal IT projects representative, finance representative and the Systems provider.

You will lead the project and transformation of the old system to the new - system TBC - ensuring the seamless transition.

This will include the design of the "look" and the processes/procedures required within the HR and payroll function - working with the System Provider to make decisions on "how" and "why".
This will then follow onto the system testing and parallel running stage of payroll and HR functions (e.g. recruitment and attendance management etc).
Then you will provide support to departments and end users to ensure they are fully competent in the operation of the various modules and using the system to its maximum potential.

In the first stage of the project - planning - it is envisage that you will be required 2 or 3 days a weeks
The next stage will be 3 to 4 days a week
The final stage will be 3-4 days a week.
This will be based on a day rate - can be Out of Scope IR35 - TBC IDEALLY STARTING END OF OCTOBER 2021

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Senior HR Generalist and/or HR/IS Project Manager who has adopted a Prince 2 approach in the past (to ensure timely project delivery) - with similar project experience.
Naturally you will have an excellent awareness of HR Systems and Technology and also have supported ICT environments and information security best practices.
A background in working with and coaching diverse teams of specialists including HR, payroll and ICT pre and post implementation is required to ensure all SOPs are in place and all users are able to use the system.
A background in leading and implementing change in a large/complex organisation is a desired quality.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available - you can mainly be remote/home based. There will be some requirement to attend the office to take part in meetings and project areas (that cannot be done remotely) - but transport routes are excellent (on the London - Scotland train service) and just off the A1 motorway.
As detailed above - the role will be initially 2 or 3 days a week - and then increase with the project implementation - and can be Out of Scope of IR35 (TBC).
