ER Advisor, 12 Month FTC

Oakeaf Partnership are supporting the hire of an ER Advisor to join the ER centre of excellence for a period of 12 Months, and this role will be reporting to the Employee Relations Manager.

You will be supporting and providing expert ER advice, tools and guidance to generalist, other HRD teams and business area, enabling high quality professional advice and guidance to the business on all ER issues, people policies and formal processes.

Specifically duties will include:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with managers/ partners in relevant business areas as the main point of contact for ER issues
• Provide pragmatic case management support and advice on all employee relations issues, including (but not limited to): performance development , disciplinary issues, grievance / disputes, sickness absence management and other Ad hoc ER issues
• Key role in ongoing up-skilling and education of generalist and managers ref legislative and best practice developments and requirements.
• Ad hoc involvement in organisational change programme activity
• Pragmatic application of employment legislation to avoid litigation against the Firm
• Support output of ER management information to analyse ER trends and hotspots
• Responsible for regular ER update to all HR Generalist teams

They are looking for:

• Significant ER generalist experience
• Proven experience of pragmatic and commercial application of business aligned ER solutions;
• Good knowledge of employment legislation and external best practice trends;
• Strong understanding of how ER matters impact commercial operations and vice versa;
• Proven experience of interacting with and influencing senior stakeholders;
