As a HR Manager / HR Business Partner, you will partner with the SMT to devise and deliver the organisational people strategy.

Reporting into the HR Director, this generalist HR Manager / HR Business Partner role, will be an operational and strategically aligned HR professional partnering with key stakeholders and supporting a specific business area. Working closely with the leadership team, you will lead on delivering the overarching organisational people strategy with the lens of 'value-add' and true commercially.

As the HR Business Partner, my customer seeks someone with an astute toolkit and passion for all things (including, but not limited to);

  • Employee relations
  • Talent and performance management
  • Organisational design
  • Leadership support and development
  • Culture & engagement
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion
  • HR team management and development

This will cover a manufacturing and engineering facility, commercial and support functions.

This role is based in Oldham, Greater Manchester

In short, this is a strategic role that will also require you to roll your sleeves up!

Profile

To be considered for this HR Business Partner appointment you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner / Senior HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist, within an autonomous role, ideally within Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG industries. Strong ER experience is a must. You will have proven experience and a strong toolkit in the following;

  • Trade Union relationship management
  • Organisational Design
  • Recruitment
  • Talent & Performance Management
  • Culture & Engagement

You will be adept at working on operational / day to day HR activities as well as more strategically. You will have demonstrable resilience and experience of working with leadership teams to implement and drive change. Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus the business, you will be a natural business advisor to the management and leadership team. As an HR Business Partner, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.

Job Offer

This role will pay £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, plus a performance related bonus and a suite of benefits.
