This is a great opportunity for an interim Equality, Diversity and Inclusion specialist to join a large national organisation on an initial interim basis, with a strong likelihood of going permanent.

Description

The successful candidate will be expected to work across the organisation lending expertise and contributing to corporate plan. You will be the "head, heart, and hands" of the organisation's EDI programme -- liaising daily with a variety of stakeholders to manage change and enhance the culture and performance as well as contribute wider challenges for research funders. You will provide various services from customised toolkits that address their greatest needs, along with supporting:

  • Provision of a good quality support service across the organisation
  • Develop EDI relevant content for the organisation
  • Development of systems to monitor the implementation, progress, and completion of EDI programmes
  • Development of metrics and performance measures
  • Contribution to success evaluation and analysis

Profile

The ideal candidate will be available for begin this interim position in October and have the following experience:

  • Significant experience managing and delivering EDI projects.
  • Experience of working in EDI
  • Successful delivery of projects or change management initiatives
  • Successfully managing and monitoring project through all stages of the process
  • Experience of applying equality legislation within a complex environment
  • Expert knowledge of Equality analysis process and the skills to train others in their use
  • Experience of working with staff at varying levels across organisations
  • A proven track record in successfully planning and organising yourself, others, and projects

Job Offer

Depending on experience £40-45,000 pro rata
