We're delighted to be helping them hire the newly created Talent Lead role reporting into the Head of HR.

The essence of the opportunity is to lead strategic workforce planning activity focussing on the identification, attraction, deployment and retention strategies to optimise the use of talent across the organisation and delivering resourcing strategies to support this. We're looking for someone to drive the future Talent strategy covering not only resourcing and SWP but also with key responsibility for leading organisation change through a strong and capable team of HR Business Partners. You will hone strategies to develop a high-performance culture through effective performance management strategies and approaches, touching on ED&I, Performance Management and Organisational Change.

As this is a newly created role, you'll find the opportunity to build and create a new approach liberating. Yes, a broad framework has been agreed, however, we're looking to you to drive the details forward.

You'll work closely with the Head of HR, Head of Learning, Colleague Proposition and Inclusion team and Heads of Functions to design, develop and implement develop targeted, high-impact interventions focused on meeting the Society's future Talent needs. Your strategic workforce planning analysis will help shape the future skills and learning agenda.

You will bring in-depth strategic workforce planning and technical resourcing experience and have a strong organisation change background. Financial services sector experience is not essential - however, you will ideally have worked in rapidly changing customer centric organisations and have some understanding of the people impact of regulation in financial services

From a personal perspective, we're looking for a highly analytical, self-confident, persuasive, collaborative team leader, someone who is used to working with ambiguity and at pace. You will have the gravitas and credibility to be quickly valued by the senior leadership team.

As would be expected in a financial services business such as this, all members of the HR leadership team will need to be comfortable with the in-depth data analysis and insight to inform decisions and planning.

The organisation has recently moved to an attractive new Head Office site in Leeds which has fantastic collaborative space for working with your team and stakeholders c3 days pw on average.
