Job Details
We have a current opportunity for a Training Advisor on a permanent basis, within the HR team of a respected accoutancy firm. The Training Advisor is responsible for learning and development across the firm as well as supporting the trainee population throughought their training contract and qualification process.
Responsibilities:
- Manages, designs and co-ordinates the comprehensive internal student & school leaver induction programme
- Acts as the main point of contact for ACA students and school leavers
- Manages the day to day service relationship with training providers
- Review and sign off 6 monthly progress reviews for all students/apprentices
- Co-ordinates the regular qualified staff training programme throughout the year
- Arranges ad-hoc internal soft skills training such as supervisor and manager training and appraisal training
- Manages the completion of the Firm's CPD requirements for Qualified staff
Requirements
- Degree educated (any discipline)
- Minimum 4 years HR/Training experience
- CIPD or relevant training / coaching qualification desirable
- Up to date knowledge of apprenticeship provision is essential
- Knowledge of accountancy qualifications is desirable
- Very Strong IT skills (Word and Excel)
- An engaging approach to building internal relationships with trainees and across the Firm will be essential
- Confident, professional and influential individual with strong verbal / written communication skills who can work effectively at all levels of a business
- Willingness to undertake Mental Health Training
