Client Details

A well respected Burgess Hill business are seeking an HR Officer/Advisor on a permanent basis.

Description

As HR Officer/Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Advise and progress appropriate level employee relations cases through informal and/or formal processes.
  • Attend formal meetings/hearings as required
  • Participate in recruitment and selection activity to include attending selection interviews as required
  • Development and maintenance of HR databases/HR IT system(s) to produce relevant management reports and enable access to accurate HR information.
  • Issue routine correspondence in the form of letters, memos or emails as required, and prepare/review more complex correspondence liaising with the HR Advisor or HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Administration of employment contracts, ensuring these meet the protocols in place and taking appropriate action should quality standards fall for any reason.
  • Assist in reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation
  • Administrative support, as required to the HR Department.
  • To undertake and/or support specific project pieces of work, as required, working to agreed timescales.

Profile

  • Looking to step into an advisor role
  • Studying CIPD
  • Strong systems and database skills
