  • London Victoria Based (3 Days per week in the office, 1 day remote)

We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Manager. This is initially a contract role with the view of becoming permanent in the future. The role is with a well-regarded housing association - charity. In this role you will use your knowledge and experience of the full employee lifecycle to support the HR function across the business within a heavily unionised environment.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Build relationships and provide HR support and guidance to directors, senior and middle managers
  • Supervise the disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, performance management and TUPE processes
  • Prepare recruitment material, supervise the recruitment, selection, and interviewing process
  • Advising on the Company HR policies and procedures
  • Taking a leading role in training and development
  • Monitoring sickness absence and other key HR performance indicators, and produce suitable reports for senior management
  • Prepare reports for the Personnel Subcommittee and attending meetings
  • Supervising one employee
  • Various project work such as: salary reviews and benchmarking, policy reviews, contract reviews, and reviewing the recruitment process

The person:

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Experience at HR Manager level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of key ER processes such as disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, performance management
  • Experience of employment tribunals, ET1's
