Reporting into the Learning and Development Manager, this role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to work alongside the SMT of a leading UK business to deliver their L&D strategy and a variety of training programmes.

My client is a leading commercial business based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training workshops and programmes across the company
  • Provide an efficient administrative service within the L&D function
  • Assist the wider L&D team and other Advisors in the delivery of the learning and development strategy, including training needs analysis and the evaluation of learner programmes
  • Book training teams, venues, travel, and accommodation for events
  • Create monthly reports for the L&D Manager
  • Manage the Learning Management system (LMS) and maintain e-learning content ensuring it is kept accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage and administer training records via the HRIS system

Profile

  • Previous experience in a Learning and Development role is essential
  • Experience of using e-learning software
  • A recognised L&D qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR and L&D initiatives
