Talent Acquisition Lead

  • Permanent
  • £40,000 - £45,000
  • City of London (2 Days per week in the office, 3 remote)
  • Superb benefits including:
    • 30% Pension contribution (21% by employer, 9% by employee)

We have a great opportunity for an experienced in-house recruiter. The role is with a very well-regarded organisation in the higher education space. In this role you will be joining a collaborative talent team and use your knowledge and experience of stakeholder management, and the full recruitment function to attract and hire the best talent to the organisation.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the departments to understand their area of business and offer expert talent acquisition advice
  • Use direct sourcing skills to high quality and diverse talent
  • Maintain agency relationships where suitable and liaise on tough to fill, niche roles
  • Advise on appropriate selection methods
  • Liaise with candidates and provide an exceptional candidate experience
  • Work with people assistants to ensure smooth onboarding process
  • Use ATS (Tribepad) to manage and track recruitment activity
  • Build reports to analyse progress and impact
  • Support Head of Talent Acquisition in the design and delivery of key talent acquisition projects
  • Be aware of budget management, recording this in an accurate manner

The person:

  • In-House recruitment experience or a mix of in-house and agency recruitment
  • Experience using ATS
  • Proven ability to utilise direct sourcing methods for both permanent and contract roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Excellent stakeholder management with experience of pushing back when necessary
  • IR35 knowledge
  • Budget management experience
