Job Details


The HR Advisor will work as part of a busy HR function on a 4-month temporary contract until January 2022. The HR Advisor will deliver a full HR advisory service to management and senior leaders, as well as leading on a range of ER casework and HR projects.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a proactive HR advisory service
  • Coach and support managers to deliver HR practices
  • Offer advice to managers on employee relation issues
  • Advise on HR policies and procedures, including recruitment and selection, discipline, grievance and absence management
  • Support the review of HR policies, ensuring these are legally compliant and fit for business needs
  • Provide support and advise on highly complex employment matters including TUPE, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence and organisational change
  • Research, develop and update new and existing HR policies and procedures in line with best practice and relevant employment legislation
  • Lead on performance, talent management and succession planning
  • Drive projects on employee engagement, wellbeing and workforce planning
  • Keep up-to-date with employment legislation changes and internal organisational developments
  • Design and deliver training to management at all levels
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including the distribution of job descriptions, coordination of interviews and candidate assessment and selection

Profile

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Experience in a full generalist HR role
  • Experience of advising on HR policies and procedures, employment law and best practice
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders and business leaders
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines

Job Offer

  • 4 month contract
  • Competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum
