Exciting opportunity to set up HR function in UK

Client Details

Global Engineering Firm


  • Act as business partner of human resources to provide full spectrum of HR services including Talent Acquisition, remuneration & benefits, employee relations, staff mobility, staff development, budget review.
  • Develop and implement HR work flow, processes, policies, procedures which comply with UK law & statutory regulations and policies
  • Maintain records in the HR & Payroll system and coordinate vendor to ensure accurate data and payroll which meets the dynamic and diversified pay rules and fulfils operational needs and legal compliance
  • work collaboratively with staff associates and trade unions and liaise with concerned parties on collective agreements when required and maintain good employee relations.
  • handle employee queries, respond to concerns and grievances in a timely manner
  • oversee visa applications and provide administrative support if necessary
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and operational duties as required


  • A recognised university degree or equivalent, preferably in human resources
  • Proven track record in Human Resources management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in developing HR policies and procedures in a start up environment is preferable
  • Well versed in UK statutory regulations
  • Client- focused approach with demonstrated flexibility and resourcefulness
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Possess budgeting and planning skills
  • High integrity and confidentiality standard
  • Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
