The HR Business Partner will support the Head of HR and Regional Operations team in the delivery of the HR and People Strategy, ensuring the efficient delivery of business-focused HR solutions.

My client is a leading commercial business based in Gateshead.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute a range of HR and People initiatives and projects across the business
  • Support the attraction, development and retention strategy
  • Maintain a consistent approach to HR practices across the business driving the key principles of the People strategy
  • Support the SMT in the development of resourcing plans for leadership roles
  • Deliver the HR and People strategy in line with business goals and objectives
  • Support change management processes
  • Attend and participate in senior management meetings to provide HR support and context
  • Upskill managers in HR best practice, including the relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Support managers to undertake recruitment and talent management activities including interviewing, candidate selection and onboarding
  • Lead on talent mapping and succession planning
  • Implement and embed HR projects to support business needs
  • Support the implementation of strategic HR projects
  • Lead in the resolution of complex and highly sensitive ER casework
  • Support the Head of HR and the SMT with MI, reporting, HR statistics and employee data
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop HR processes, in line with company standards and best practice

Profile

* A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management - minimum CIPD Level 5
* Extensive ER knowledge and hands-on experience in dealing with ER issues
* Excellent understanding of Employment legislation, with an up-to-date knowledge of generalist HR policies and processes
* Ability to manage upline, influence and work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team
* Previous experience in business restructure, organisational design, and change management
* Ability to deliver talent mapping and succession planning initiatives
* Previous experience in a HRBP role
* Experience working in a multi-site business is advantageous
* Excellent organisational skills
* Project management experience
* TUPE experience is desirable
* A full UK driving licence and flexible approach to travel

Job Offer

  • Salary £40,000 per annum
  • 12-month fixed-term contract

  • Option to work 4 days per week (Salary £40,000 pro rata)
