About the role

At our site in Burscough we employ 287 people, our site produces sustainable packaging for a number of well known FMCG businesses. We are going through an exciting period of growth at Burscough, so now is a great time to join us on this journey.

We are now recruiting for a Production Scheduler to join us. In this role you will work alongside the customer service manager to plan the production schedule, as well as working with the shift managers on resolving production issues on shift. As well as managing the flow of product through the manufacturing process to ensure a smooth, operational and cost efficient process and facilitate availability of finished material to enable high and consistent levels of customer service.

Hours of work

The site operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, consisting of two 12 hour days followed by two 12 hour nights then 4 days off as rest period.

About you

Minimum requirements:

  • Ability to make quick decisions in a pressurised environment
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Enthusiasm to join our expanding team
  • The drive to rise to challenges and good problem solving abilities
