Permanent UK HR Manager based in Winsford, Monday - Friday, 40 hour week. Travel required

Your new company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding organisation based in Winsford. My client is seeking a professional HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
My client specialises in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of novel, high performance advanced wound care products, surgical dressings and medical grade materials as well as medical adhesives and sutures.


Your new role

The role is being offered as full time - Monday - Friday with a 40 hour week. You will predominately be based in Winsford but some travel will be required to the organisations other sites based in Stafford and Plymouth
Some of your duties will include but not limited to

Develop the HR function in the UK to support the strategic direction of the business, ensuring that people policies support the business growth ambitions
Provide Management data to guide and inform decision making within the group
Coach HR team and managers on best practice in HR processes
Develop programmes to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member
Ensure that the new hire orientation process properly introduces new employees to the corporate culture
Enhance employee engagement with new ways to measure employee morale and determine methods to improve overall employee satisfaction
Manage absence levels and work with line management to address any employee concerns/challenges. Manage OH provider to ensure good levels of service
Benchmark employee benefits platform and make recommendations for improving or enhancing current practices
Manage headcount for the UK business in line with budget.
Make proposals based on changing legislation in the UK, e.g. minimum wage, pension changes, equal pay reporting.
Deliver at least 1 continuous improvement project per annum.
Work as part of the wider Worldwide HR team to support Group projects.

What you'll need to succeed

CIPD Level 5 at a minimum
Previous relevant HR generalist/advisory experience. Experience of managing a HR team
Sound knowledge of current employment law and its application.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
High level of discretion due to the confidential and sensitive nature of the role.
Strong IT skills.
Flexibility with the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing professional services environment
Strong attention to detail
