Temp HR Transactional Team Leader (Until March 2023), Norwich, £32-36k (Perm Equiv.) within Public Sector

Your new company
Your new company is looking for a temporary (until March 2023) HR Transactional Team leader to join their busy HR department. They're looking for you to join on a full-time basis, to make a difference towards a positive, and effective employee relations framework.

Your new role
Primarily, your responsibilities will include the development, reviewing, and implementation of transactional policies and procedures, as well as ensuring the accurate recording of employee information. This will include working collaboratively and supporting other colleagues to deliver team, corporate, and the Covid-19 recovery plan.

You will also provide comprehensive advisory support to the managers and employees of the organisation, on all aspects of HR, payroll, terms and conditions and other aspects of the employer and employee relationship.

As part of your role, you'll also be working with the HR team to improve the organisations processes and make suggestions for more efficient ways of working, as well as harnessing technology to influence better performance, ensure compliance and deliver excellent customer service.

Additionally, you'll be supporting the workforce through organisational development to actively promote a culture of employee well-being and support.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you'll need to be have an intermediate (level 5) or advanced CIPD diploma, have experience of providing transactional operational advice on HR policy, and have an awareness of employment law, and ER issues across a multi-disciplinary organisation.

You'll also need to be able to develop and analyse HR metrics to inform corporate decision making around people issues, have experience of a wide range of IT packages, and be a driven, hands on individual with a flexible approach.
