Your new role

First point of contact for people queries providing in the moment advice, considering the very latest employment legislation.
Accountable for managing case work, the cases you'll handle will vary from disciplinary and grievance cases to performance and capability issues ranging in degree of complexity.
Take a lead role in business restructures, redundancies, TUPE transfers and acquisitions
Carry out necessary administrative tasks whilst constantly looking for opportunities to improve and streamline processes
Coach and advise managers through all elements of the colleague Lifecycle.
Develop skills, knowledge and confidence to encourage & affect the necessary change to deliver the desired business outcomes
Design and maintain People Relations specialist training
Deliver training to leaders within the group to build knowledge and confidence across all areas of employment law and legislation.
Be the custodian of policy and process ensuring that documents such as people policies, contracts and handbooks are accurate and up to date and adhered to.
Ensure all colleague personnel records are maintained in accordance with Data Protection Act and GDPR - Contribute to ensuring that the HR cycle calendar is up to date and activities communicated and executed in a timely fashion such as annual performance reviews, pay reviews etc.
Regular involvement with project work, with a continuous focus on improving the colleague experience, including people system development and implementation.
