Tech/IT Talent Acquisition Partner for leading global pharmaceutical company, £250 per day, Cambridge, hybrid

Your new company
A leading global pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Cambridge is looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Partner to attract talent into their IT and procurement teams. A 6-month contract to start with, likely to be extended for the right candidate.


Your new role
As a Talent Acquisition Partner for IT you will be responsible for delivering Talent Acquisition solutions in partnership with the Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Lead to proactively identify and fill vacancies with talented individuals with the right capability and skills in a fast-paced challenging market.

This will involve proactive activity, developing and executing sourcing plans, building talent pipelines, conducting direct sourcing activity, research, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management and managing the hiring administration process.

This role is full lifecycle recruitment in a very hand on fast moving environment where your IT subject matter expertise will allow you to advise, coach and influence hiring managers to ensure best in class service delivery to the business and candidates.

You will build strong trusting relationships both with internal stakeholders and candidates and ensure both have a good experience with Talent Acquisition throughout the process.

You will work with 3rd party vendors on occasion for niche hard to fill roles but you will be targeted on a direct fill rate - utilising our internal Talent Scout for senior hires and internal recruitment marketing teams for campaigns. Collating feedback and providing hiring metrics and data analytics on performance and reporting to identify areas for continuous improvement will also be key in this role.


What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful IT Talent Acquisition Partner you will have experience in delivering full life cycle recruitment services in the IT services sector, experience utilising a range of attraction channels, demonstrate knowledge of IT roles, ie data science, data engineering, machine learning and ability to identify key candidate sources externally to build potential candidate pools.

You will possess strong persuading & influencing skills as well as excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced changing agile environment and have a customer focused, results orientated approach. You will also possess strong IT/Tech skills to credibly talk to both candidates and stakeholders.



What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive day rate of £250 PAYE/£315 UMB. Flexible working options available, with a few days a week in the office based in Central Cambridge.
