Salary: £51,810 - £59,405 plus excellent benefits
Location: London, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Belfast

Developing colleagues through Learning and Development is key for the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to be a high performing organisation and to achieve its strategic objectives. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development specialist to play a pivotal role ensuring the CMA Academy is a centre of Learning and Development excellence.

This role is key to developing integrated learning programmes that meet the current and future needs of the organisation by supporting a culture of excellence, personal growth, and positive career development, ensuring staff are equipped to deal with and manage change.

Working closely with peer Learning and Development Managers, you will deliver a portfolio of projects and programmes spanning induction and onboarding, leadership, business skills, digital, professions, talent, inclusion, change and culture.

The successful candidate will offer proven operational experience of having successfully led, developed, and managed organisational learning, organisational culture and development programmes and projects. This will be supported by a relevant learning and development qualification relating to:

  • organisational / learning development
  • coaching at NQF level 5 or above; or
  • an accredited Core strengths/ SDI facilitator

In return the CMA is a hugely rewarding, diverse and stimulating place to work – an opportunity to work for the public good and to stretch and develop yourself in doing so. We offer generous benefits, including an excellent pension scheme, at least 25 days leave (increasing to 30 over five years), and generous maternity/paternity leave provision. You can also take advantage of interest-free season ticket loans, a cycle to work scheme, our employee well-being programme and favourable consideration of flexible working.
