My Client is a global Organisation based in central London looking for a HR Business partner to join the team on a 12 month FTC. This will be hybrid working with 1 day a week in the London office.

You will be working closely with the groups global finance division and the finance director. you will be managing the execution of the HR strategy & lead the provision of HR advice and support to the Group Finance Function to attract, develop & retain the people required to deliver high performance & build competitive advantage.

Duties Include:


· Providing strategic HR support and service to Group Finance leadership team, contributing to the development of strategic and tactical plans to support short term and long term business and functional goals from a people perspective

· Contribute and support the Group Finance and Discipline strategies and transformational ambitions from an HR functional point of view.

· Manage the effective delivery of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes for client groups, drawing on support from local HR teams and Centres of Expertise as appropriate. Ensure effective application of the companies HR policies and standards within the relevant client groups

· Develop & promote a culture which values and focuses on the attraction, identification, development, engagement and retention of talent, both in terms of leadership potential & Experts for business-critical roles, ensuring a strong succession pipeline.

· Develop the bench strength of the Finance & Legal disciplines by ensuring understanding of talent opportunities and gaps in both Group Finance and the BUs. Work with the OE/Talent function to define and manage appropriate metrics to measure Health of Discipline for Group Finance, monitoring and proposing actions to improve Discipline Health.

· Drive a culture of high performance by ensuring appropriate use of the Company performance management process and tools. Manage the process across Group Finance, ensuring clear direction throughout the performance cycle and support delivery of high performance and living of company values

· Manage global short term and long term reward processes for Group Finance as part of the global performance management and pay review cycles. Work with the Reward function to deliver reward for performance and ensure reward is effectively managed and meets the Disciplines needs

· Implement Group OE/Talent and Learning deliverable's to define and build competency requirements to ensure the delivery of technical excellence in the Finance & Legal disciplines. Work with the teams to design and deliver learning initiatives to enhance capability where required

· Provide advice and support to Group Finance Leadership on the development of an inclusive culture. Manage the implementation of the company and Group Finance initiatives to increase diversity in the function.

· Ensure the effective implementation of agreed HR initiatives and programmes, policies and procedures, across Group Finance, in conjunction with the Business Unit HR team where appropriate.

· Ensure compliance with the organisational model and principles and that any changes align with the appropriate standards
