About the role:
Capital City College Group is seeking a suitably experienced recruitment manager with a wide range of knowledge and experience in internal recruitment to lead in the delivery of a strategic and innovative recruitment practices and solutions across our college group.
The successful applicant will take the lead in supporting on all strategic demands of recruitment within the business and be the lead on all operational aspects to ensure that top talent is attracted and introduced to the organisation. You will need to demonstrate the ability to act flexibly in order to adapt to a frequently changing work environment and priorities, reflecting the diverse activities and risk profiles associated with delivering practical recruitment strategies within the constituent colleges forming the Group.
Leading a small team, you will plan and design recruitment campaigns using the most appropriate sourcing method in each situation. You will lead by example and challenge the team to provide a best-in-class service to support the growing needs of the Group and will work closely with senior leadership teams to fully understand and plan for present and future recruitment needs. Supporting this the applicant will provide an inspirational example to the team in raising professional standards through knowledge gained from a dedicated pursuit of continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following:
• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent customer care skills and the ability to represent the College in a positive way at all times.
• Commitment to and understanding of equal opportunities within a diverse and multicultural environment.
• Experience in screening and interviewing job applicants.
• Knowledge of the further education sector.
• CIPD Qualified or equivalent by experience.
