HR Adviser

Our client is looking for a HR Adviser on a short term 4 months temporary assignment. You will be working within a wider HR team supporting across all aspects of the HR cycle providing an excellence internal service.

Key accountability will include;

* To develop and maintain trusted relationships with managers in line with their and the wider organisation's visions and values
* To advise managers on employment law and employee terms and conditions providing appropriate interpretation. These will vary dependent upon the customer's organisation and the contents of individual employees' contracts of employment. .
* To effectively manage complex and non-complex casework
* To support all aspects of TUPE
* Advising at hearings and appeal hearings (including sickness absence)
* Advising and managing complex change management work e.g. politically sensitive or high number of redundancies, whole service re-organisations, etc - including working with the service
* to shape the change - but carrying non-complex work as required by team capacity
* To provide specialist HR advice to managers on the interpretation of HR policies and employment legislation
* To contribute to the development of HR/OD policies and processes and ensure their effective delivery for customers

The role is based from home 4 days per week with the requirement to attend the office once a week.
