Job Details
As Training Specialist you will support the organisation of instructor-led training courses and contribute to the development of training materials for online and in person training.

My client is a global pharmaceutical organisation, headquartered in Cambridge.
Description
The main responsibilities will be:
- Implementing and coordinating training and course selections
- Monitoring training programs and future needs in line with guidelines and requirements and within control and efficiency objectives
- Designing and developing training programs and materials
- Liaising with internal and external trainers to ensure that courses' content is up-to-date, in line with the audience needs and revised to take into consideration participants' feedback
- Promoting training offering via web pages, Workplace and other relevant channels
- Administering technical training (if appropriate)
Profile
Successful candidate:
- This role would suit someone with a background within bioinformatics e.g. a data Science / Programming / Statistician
- Previous teaching / training experience, this person will be supporting existing trainers in curriculum planning
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines is essential
- Knowledge of R, Python and SAS Programming would be a significant advantage
Job Offer
Cambridge (Remote) - potentially 3 days onsite once return to work policies are in place
12 month contract
£300 - £375 a day, depending on experience
