HR Data Analyst

Location: Regus Business Park, Frimley (Home working actively supported)

Closing Date: 9am on Monday 1 November 2021

Salary: Circa 35K (Inclusive of a market allowance)

The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

The Trust has already created a number of centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance & payroll, Estates & facilities and Careers guidance.  This is an exciting time for an experienced HR Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with HR Business Partners to develop analytical reporting frameworks that enable leadership teams to understand and monitor people data, in order to improve overall performance.

To be effective within the role you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience of analysing, interpreting and preparing people information and analysis in a timely and engaging manner, for a variety of customers, via the manipulation of a number of database information systems.

This role will work closely with the HR Director and HR Business Partners to deliver an agreed schedule of people performance reports throughout the academic year, but the successful candidate must be self-motivated, proactive and able to deliver results independently. Whilst there are a number of statutory report submissions and regular business planning and forecasting cycles each year, in line with our Trust core value of restlessness, we are seeking a candidate that constantly strives to improve departmental processes and the HR analytical service. Customers may not always fully appreciate the benefits of analytical data in terms of improved performance, so we are seeking a post holder that can proactively recommend new products and services, with a vision of data insight rather than analysis in the future.

It is essential that our successful candidate is able to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including external system client managers, to exploit the capability of all Trust systems and provide an effective service for Trust leadership teams.

This is a rewarding and developing role, but you will need to enjoy a fast-paced challenge at a time of change for our team. Proven experience within an analytical HR role is essential and whilst a CIPD qualification is advantageous, the Trust would consider sponsoring the successful candidate to achieve or further their current qualification status.  The Trust will offer extensive training on any external database systems, but we would expect the successful candidate to have significant experience of utilising Microsoft office, particularly Excel.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week and this is NOT a term-time only role.

Further details of this exciting role and how to apply can be found on our website farnborough.ac.uk/working.  If you would like to have a further discussion before applying for this role, please contact Becky Young (HR Director) on 07864 967648.

Please complete the application form, employment declaration and equality monitoring form and email all completed applications to rebecca.young@prospecttrust.org.uk by 9am on Monday 1 November 2021.

Early applications are encouraged, as the Trust may at its discretion elect to both interview and select candidates before the advertised closing date.

The Prospect Trust takes the control and processing of employee data very seriously and is committed to acting in line with the GDPR regulations; please read the attached applicant privacy notice which explains how your data is processed.

We welcome applications from all suitably qualified applicants, however all disabled applicants who meet our minimum criteria will be invited for interview.

The Prospect Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people within our care and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment. Any future offer of employment remains subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS clearance, a health check and references.
