People Advisor required for IMMEDIATE START. This is a six month fixed term contract with potential to go permanent.

A fast-paced and varied People Advisor role within a forward-thinking HR setup. Previous knowledge of working in a shared services environment is desirable.

Client Details

My client is a well-established Staffing & Recruitment company based in London.

Description

As the People Advisor for this Staffing & Recruiting Company, you will report into the Group People Shared Services Partner, and will be the point of contact for key stakeholders and employees across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support on employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings
  • Prepare contracts of employment for new hires and internal promotions
  • Support recruitment administration activity
  • Manage the HR database management using SEG People (Sage HRIS) and insert daily changes into the system
  • Process all payroll queries and salary adjustments and liaise closely with the payroll team

Profile

The successful People Advisor will posses the following:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building and a customer and service delivery focus
  • Organisational and project management skills
  • MUST have a background working in shared services and operational people management solutions
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in an advisory role with CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Undergraduate degree in business studies, psychology, law, or similar social science field
