Your new role
This role will lead on all direct sourcing, developing and implementing advanced sourcing methods, utilising and enhancing the existing Employee Value Proposition and delivering an excellent candidate experience. You will also take a lead in Early Career attraction projects to ensure a secure pipeline of talent to support the apprentice and grad programmes.
- Recruitment - Oversee the authorisation process for hiring, continually qualify the role requirements with a meeting, agree selection method/process and manage expectations of the Director/Managers around timescales for delivery. Complete all relevant documentation in support of these activities.
- Source candidates through innovative and appropriate channels; contact all candidates by phone to qualify their application, assess suitability across skills and behaviours.
- Present shortlists to the hiring manager.
- Manage offer negotiating, pre-employment screening and on-boarding.
- Ensure that candidates, hiring managers and all relevant stakeholders are regularly briefed and updated at all stages of the recruitment process by active verbal communication and backed-up by email.
- Take the lead on early careers including graduates, apprentices and school leavers.
- Represent the business and coordinate key events to promote them as an employer of choice
- Take a lead on ex-military and diversity attraction & retention programmes
- Headhunt & Talent pool for business-critical areas and hires
- Work with marketing and take active lead on social media advertising, including brand enhancing campaigns to attract the best talent and gain enhanced market exposure
- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- Experience of both agency and inhouse recruitment
- A track record in designing and executing successful volume hiring campaigns
- Familiarity with traditional and modern candidate sourcing methods
- Experience of developing & running assessment centres
