Your new company
This is a warehouse / logistics site in Doncaster - for a large group as the No1 on site in Human Resources - reporting to a Divisional Head of HR and an Operational Senior Site Manager.

Your new role
You will manage and provide an effective HR service for a large and busy 24/7 operational site with circa 500 staff.

You will manage a team of 3 direct reports (4 via your No2, a Senior HR Advisor) - including all coach, mentor and support to your team.

You will work and liaise closely with the site Trade Union and be involved with yearly and adhoc talks and negotiations. This role has a strong generalist HR focus, but also provides the opportunity for someone to be actively involved in proactive strategic work - around the full organisational "labour strategy" including talent management & development, organisational change, Wellbeing, D&I, resource management, and HR improvement activities. The role will also include support a culture of continuous improvement to ensure that all objectives are achieved and maintained through the performance of people.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have experience at working at a management level - both strategically and operationally. Ideally come from a warehouse/logistics background - or suitably equivalent blue/white collar mix environment. Trade Union experience is beneficial. Ideally you will be CIPD Level 5 Qualified as a minimum.

In return you will be offered a competitive salary, circa £45k to £48k DOE and qualifications, The role is site based - although there is some flexibility to periodically work from home/flexibly. 37.5 hours a week - between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday - to "catch" shift patterns Managers.
