I am delighted to be working with a Professional Services firm in Cheltenham to help them recruit an HR Advisor on a permanent basis. Salary up to £33K and hybrid working is an option.

Due to progression within the team my client is looking for a hands on and highly skilled HR advisor to join them. Reporting into the HR Manager this role will cover the entire generalist remit and act as the first point of contact for all HR advice and enquires. As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operational HR procedures, including all processes relating to the full employee lifecycle and employee relations.
The HR team advises on all aspects of employee relations, payroll, HR processes and policy as well as overseeing the implementation of HR change initiatives and projects. You will take ownership of all processes relating to joiners and leavers, including (although not limited to) preparation of contracts of employment & offer letters, background screening checks, onboarding, setting up benefits, new joiner emails, liaise with payroll team, exit interviews. You will be the first point of contact for all Employee Relation queries and will deal with case work around performance, absence management, grievance, and disciplinary procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have a solid work history of operating as an HR Advisor ideally within a Professional Services firm. You will have a strong understanding of employment law and best practice and would have dealt with complex employee relation issues to include disciplinary, grievance and performance. You will be a pro active team player who is self-motivated with a can-do attitude. You will have strong communication skills and will be confident in dealing with all levels of people. This role will allow you to demonstrate your ability and deliver a first-class HR service.
