Job Details

The HR Data/ MI Analyst will provide accurate HR data management and insights to support the delivery of the people strategy, including the development of dashboards and management reports.

Client Details

My client is a leading Public Sector organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate HR data management to support the delivery of the people strategy
  • Develop HR dashboards across the HR function
  • Review dashboards to ensure they are complete and accurate
  • Gather and summarise data for reports and validate the accuracy of MI
  • Analyse and interpret HR data and MI, and provide management reports
  • Influence stakeholders and senior leaders to make decisions based on informed data
  • Adopt an analytical approach, in-order-to question and challenge the data presented
  • Research alternative tools and techniques for data analysis
  • Work across multiple HR systems to identify people data opportunities
  • Provide feedback on any trends or issues, and suggest actionable insights
  • Support all data requirements across people projects including organisational design work


Candidate profile:

  • Previous experience in a Data/ MI role, ideally within a busy HR function
  • Previous HR analytics experience
  • Ability to translate data and MI into actionable insights
  • Ability to work with numbers, systems, and information
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • You will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
  • Comfortable doing analytics and providing a summary of key findings from data
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on identifying trends and issues
