Head of People based in Leicester City Centre

Client Details

A small Not for Profit organisation

Description

As Head of People you will be responsible for;

  • Managing the full end to end employee life cycle for the organisation
  • Management of 1x Part Time HR officer
  • Responsible for effective delivery of HR service to the organisation
  • Focus on Strategic People plan, focusing on L&D, EDI, Retention and Engagement
  • Ensure all people processes, policies and procedures are up to date and compliant
  • Supporting with Recruitment and on boarding
  • Lead on Wellbeing project
  • Identify areas to focus and any improvements

Profile

The successful candidate will be;

  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven track record operating at HR Manager/BP level
  • Experience in L&D, OD, EDI and Recruitment
  • Up to date with UK Employment Law and HR best practice
  • Strategic HR experience

Please note; due to the nature of the role, some weekend work will be required occasionally,

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate is;

  • Salary c. £40-£45k
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days on site in Leicester City Centre)
  • 25 days holiday + BH

  • 39 hour working week, early finish on Fridays

Please note: due to the nature of the role, you will be required on site 2-3 days per week. There is a car park around the corner and you will be eligible for a travel scheme discount after the probation period.
