Our vibrant, welcoming school is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Director of HR. The Director of HR reports to the Bursar and is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of HR advice and services to all employees, covering the full employment lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to termination. HR also oversee staff compliance and safeguarding and manage the Single Central Register to ensure that the School continues to be a safe place to work and study. 

A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams within a similar senior position are essential for this position. Whilst previous experience within the education sector is not a requirement, candidates must be able to transfer their experience, skills and knowledge into a high performing education setting. Excellent communication along with the ability to encourage innovation are key attributes, in order to share a creative culture of continuous improvement amongst your team and colleagues. 

This is a permanent position, offered on a full-time basis, 52 weeks per year. The working hours will be 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30am – 4.30pm on Friday with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break.

The preferred start date for this position is February 2022, a later start date will be considered for the right applicant.
