The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will source and hire candidates. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders on their timing and talent needs; source, screen, interview and present candidates while maintaining a focus on candidate and customer experience.

Description

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition network and leaders, organise and maintain effective strategies to source and assess internal and external talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand and prioritise job opening requirements, and influence talent acquisition decisions according to the needs of the business.
  • Meet service level agreements expectations set by the business to ensure seamless candidate experience and ease of hire for hiring managers and HR managers.
  • Manage positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide hiring managers with accurate and timely update on applicant activity
  • Drive full life-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Adhere to talent acquisition metrics which will measure full lifecycle recruitment process for all requisitions.
  • Report trends and issues to TA leadership, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain strong cross functional partnerships with business, hiring managers and other talent acquisition functions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the recruitment processes including using an applicant tracking system, a contact management database (CRM) and social networking platforms, in addition to creating and posting requisitions, conducting resume reviews, telephone/in-person screening of candidates and candidate tracking and dispositioning within the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop market and technical school partnerships to build, manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent communities
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, that will enable you to have consultative discussions with regarding candidates' viability and acquisition strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree preferred.

* 5+ years of experience in recruiting required.

Desired Characteristics:

* Strong competency in cold calling, networking, innovative sourcing, and building talent communities within unique functional areas. Strong internet recruiting, social networking and technology/database searching/mining skills required.

* Strong working knowledge of acquisition practices, principles, applications and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills

* Experience using an applicant tracking system is required

* Ability to multi-task in a high-volume administration

* Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong customer service skills

* Deadline driven

* Minimal travel required

* English proficiency required
