About the Organisation

Our client is an international law firm seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis. Their fast-moving, dynamic outlook on the business, allows their employees to thrive within the company and deliver the best service for their clients.

Job Description

The client is looking for an HR Manager to join their wider HR team and work both collaboratively and independently to achieve the business objectives for the team. This role, in particular, will be responsible for managing the entire employee life cycle, including but not limited to; ensuring personnel details are up to date and accurate, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and organising effective end-to-end recruitment processes. You will support in delivering a high calibre candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.

Within this role, you will embed the centralised recruitment model across a variety of sectors in the business and internationally. You will be working alongside the Head of HR to build the recruitment team at all levels of the business and provide best practice advice to the hiring manager on matters including but not limited to advising on appropriate selection methods, leading interviews and influencing decisions on ensuring an inclusive selective process.

Additionally, you will assist in the full graduate recruitment process including but not limited to; the application process, assessment days, trainee inductions, seat changes and qualification to NQ processes. The successful candidate will develop the graduate trainee process to ensure the firm is attracting a diverse, high calibre of applicants. You will also work to maintain strong relationships with both future trainees and monitor all appropriate training that is undertaken.

Finally, you will also work on arranging appropriate training (both internal and external) to ensure training is up to date and records are compliant with relevant regulatory bodies.

Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate must have substantial legal recruitment experience in order to succeed in the role. The successful candidate must be a highly commercial, globally-minded, progressive individual with significant expertise within the HR sphere. You must be capable of working both collaboratively and independently to work towards the relevant business objectives.

Skilled in spotting strong candidates for both current and future roles, the successful applicant must have expertise in thinking tactically and the ability to both make decisions and provide solutions.

Alongside this, the ideal candidate must have strong commercial awareness and be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly, Word and Excel). Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with an attention to detail and strong organisational skills will allow the candidate to thrive within the role.
