Change Manager, up to £70k pa plus benefits, car/car allowance. Homebased but involves some travel.

Your new role
To comprehensively understand and be an ambassador for the organisation's strategy, working with the COO, Head of HR and other board members to create and develop a Change Management strategy that supports the delivery of the overall UK strategy. To be accountable for the delivery of specific Change Management initiatives, support the delivery of component Change Projects featuring as part of various strategy pillars, and lead on the training/educating/upskilling of organisation's people. Utilise your solid experience of Change management and working in conjunction with an external consultant to deliver a tailored programme that will ultimately be delivered and managed internally.

Key duties

  • Design and implementation (with an external partner) of Change Management training and development across the business with an enhanced / additional focus on leadership and management teams.
  • Create deliverables for key change management controls such as communications, plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, resistance management plans.
  • Reporting and planning - measuring success metrics and monitor change progress of the strategy.
  • Working with indirect reports to 'get things done' in a timely and efficient manner but in a style that brings people with you along the journey ensuring engagement and alignment.
  • Ensuring the training is a good fit for the culture and values
  • Overall responsibility for smooth running of the course(s) and embedding within existing or future Learning and Development programmes. Managing follow up and feedback from sessions
  • Ability to develop into taking on more responsibility for delivery of certain aspects of the training when cascading beyond Senior management level
  • Organisation and practical support for the training provider incl logistics of room bookings , training collateral etc
  • Tracking performance and development of individuals going through the training etc
  • Strong focus on developing the approach to Change management including the development of the common language we have talked about
  • Provide Practical support for Managers involved in dealing with Change e.g .new Team Managers - including the development of relevant toolkits etc . facilitate occasional change sessions particularly where the manager is new/weaker in terms of change skills


What you'll need to succeed
Experience

  • Experience in delivering change in both large (PLC) environments and small-medium complex organisations.
  • Project Management experience with the ability to produce a comprehensive plan from complex and ambiguous information then coordinate the delivery of initiatives to ultimately achieve objectives. PRINCE2 or Six-Sigma desirable but not essential.
  • Change Management experience relating to Sales Process and Structure, People & Culture, Operations and Delivery.
  • Application of structured methodologies and change management toolkits
  • Anticipating and managing the challenges around people/departments/divisions that are resistant to change

Skillset

  • Outstanding communication skills with specific focus influencing, engaging people and collaboration/negotiation with others.
  • High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence, able to understand the sensitivities of a business that has been through limited change and still has 'mini cultures' embedded, historic ways of working and resistance to change / adopt new ways of working.
  • Highly IT literate with a skillset in data analytics, fully proficient in excel and able to handle, analyse and produce reporting for various audiences.
