Learning & Development Advisor - Contract Until March 2022 - Public Sector - Hybrid - £150-£300 per day

Within the public sector, there is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development professional to excel in this exciting new post of Learning and Development Advisor. Certain aspects of this role will be fulfilled remotely. However, with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the expectation is to deliver the role within these offices at periods of employment


Your new role

• As Learning and Development Advisor, you will be supporting their Leadership Development 2021/2022 roadmap which is an integral focus and objective for the business. You will support this roadmap by designing and facilitating leadership interventions to build and develop leadership knowledge. You will also analyse leadership training at an organisation, team and individual level to support the roadmap and future needs of the business.
• It is expected to create flexible and innovative training by using digital tools with a specific focus on virtual training design. The training you create and deliver must be a consistent high standard of quality but also deliver on good value for money. You will have experience in working to budgets and forecasts.
• You will apply a change and project management approach to translate digital transformational change initiatives into tangible development.
• You will be a confident and strong communicator as collaborating within the business and external stakeholders is an important part of this role whilst applying a partnering approach. This will allow you to gain a clear understanding of development requirements and how they can be effectively implemented.

What you'll need to succeed

• To be successful in this role, you must be CIPD qualified or working towards this accreditation or other relevant qualification.
• The expectation is a minimum of Level 3. It is essential to have proven experience of working at a strategic level.
• You must have experience with digital and transformational change

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. You will be offered a daily rate of between £150-£300 per day, this will be paid to you via Hays timesheets on a weekly basis.
