A fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter with experience of resourcing within the engineering and construction sectors. I am working with an award winning and well established regional residential developer who are actively looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be part of the HR team.
This is a brand new role and the client is open on candidates who come from either agency, in-house or a combination of the two background. However it is essential that you are familiar recruiting within the construction and engineering industry sector. It will be 95% white collar recruitment, recruiting for such roles as Site Engineers, Quantity surveyors and Architects as an indicator.
This is a full time permanent position based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, with a highly competitive salary of up to £45.000 plus bonus and excellent benefits which include private healthcare and a generous pension.

Purpose of role
To manage and drive the end-to-end recruitment process across the business, with a focus on building credible stakeholder relationships,
Some duties
Provide a proactive and effective resourcing solution to the business and be responsible for recruitment processes from conception to fulfilment.
Develop effective talent acquisition strategies and resourcing solutions and leverage all relevant opportunities and avenues for candidate generation, using agreed budgets to source the best candidates.
Develop talent pipelines
Identify candidates by utilising multiple strategies including: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking events and recruitment fairs.
Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and manage the preferred supplier list (PSL).

Experience needed
Experience within construction or engineering recruitment is essential
Good stakeholder management
The ability to build credible relationships, advise, guide and push back when needed
High volume, able to prioritise workload

The client does offer some flexibility on home working but it is essential that you are able to work 4 days in the office.
