Fantastic opportunity to work with a well established organisation as a Outreach Officer You will be supporting the student recruitment team through outreach and attraction activities from initial planning to delivery of virtual, in office, school, college and on-campus events.

Client Details

The client is a global organisation in the Engineering industry. Due to success and growth they are looking for Outreach Officer to join their diverse team based in Watford.


Successful Outreach Officer:

  • To support the delivery of key outreach work streams including Student Brand Managers, Sponsorship and Volunteers
  • Assist with planning campus activity and arranging how the Student Recruitment team will deliver
  • Implement an internal communication strategy to inform the internal audience about recruitment outreach activity
  • Establishing and developing best in class content
  • Working with Brand & Attraction team to ensure digital attraction activity is aligned to outreach activity
  • Produce and implement campus, school and college marketing plans targeting universities, school and college
  • Liaise with event volunteers to deliver full briefings prior to each event
  • Collating national report on outreach activity to inform future activity and provide business MI


Outreach Officer:

  • Ideally has worked through at least two cycles of Student Recruitment Experience
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the student recruitment marketplace
  • Drive and commitment
  • Confident and engaging presenter
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases and Internet research
  • Able to build and maintain relationship with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent time management
  • Attention to details
  • Forward thinking and proactive approach
