Are you a Registered Nurse who would like the opportunity to lead and develop Occupational Health on the Isle of Man?

About the role and our team

Join our team as the Occupational Health Service Manager!

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of teaching and training, with significant experience of working within the Occupational Health Field to be part of our small, friendly and supportive team.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development and direction of the service, as well as business and budget planning, service reporting and co-ordination of service delivery.

This role allows you to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the working age population and be able to manage your own complex, clinical caseload supporting a diverse workforce.

If you would relish the challenge of being responsible for the strategic development and direction of the Service and are passionate about providing evidence based advice to support individuals to stay in or return to work, promoting positive mental wellbeing and empowering employees to manage their own health conditions, we would love to hear from you.

What can this role offer me?

You can take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for personal and professional development. This includes the use of our Learning, Education and Development Centre and the fantastic range of fully funded courses we support.

If working flexibly is important to you, you’ll be happy to know we operate a flexi-time system making it easier to reclaim any additional hours worked and to fit your other commitments around your work life.

About the Island and relocating

Here you can enjoy a fantastic quality of life, and an excellent work-life balance! There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities; so if you like walking, mountain biking, sailing or kayaking, you’ll have lots of places to explore!

There are also lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants, and you can enjoy the Island’s real sense of community. The island is well connected to the UK, and you’ll also benefit from low income tax rates (20% maximum rate).

If you are relocating or returning to the Island, you can also benefit from the National Insurance Holiday Scheme, which allows you to apply for a refund on your NI contributions for your 1st year of living here.
