A permanent Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager opportunity is available within the friendly HR team of an international law firm.

Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for the firm's graduate recruitment and development activities for London Trainee Solicitors.
  • All aspects of candidate attraction, recruitment and development, with a mix of strategic and operational activities.
  • Close interaction with the firm's international offices.
  • Work closely with the Partners to ensure that the trainee programme is aligned to the needs of the business.
  • Lead on the design and implementation of the future approach to SQE
  • Devise and deliver a campus attraction to raise the profile of the firm at universities and to position the firm as an employer of choice
  • Own the graduate recruitment brand and work with the Marketing team to embed the brand across various channels
  • Alongside the CSR team, develop a diversity strategy
  • Work with L&D, Knowledge Management and industry group leaders on trainee development, training, seat rotations and qualification process
  • Manage a team of 2
  • Mange the graduate recruitment budget

Requirements:

    Educated to degree level or equivalent/CIPD qualification; Experienced graduate recruitment manager within legalStrong interpersonal skillsCreative and curiousPrevious line management experience; experience of supervising and mentoring othersCommercial approach -suggests process improvements and drives efficiency
