Interim HR and Recruitment Advisor - Shrewsbury
This is a market-leading business with sites and staff across the country. As HR and Recruitment Advisor you will be supporting managers in a unionized environment at their site in Shrewsbury. You will play a key role in dealing with ER issues, providing support, advice, and guidance to operational managers across the business.

This is an interim (6 months) role with 3-4 days a week in the office and the rest of the time spent working from home. There will be occasional travel to other sites to support HR projects.

Responsibilities will include

  • Advising operational managers on their day-to-day operational HR issues and working with them to improve their confidence and management capabilities.
  • Suggesting continuous improvement to HR/ER policy and providing commercially sound advice and guidance
  • Supporting operational managers with all recruitment from advertising, through to interviewing and onboarding

You will need

  • Previous experience of working in an HR and Recruitment role, supporting employees at all levels.
  • The confidence to work autonomously whilst remaining part of the HR team (the majority of which are based at a different site).
  • Experience in working in partnership with Unions to resolve HR issues.
