An adaptable, commercially-minded Recruitment Specialist to join a prestigious manufacturer in Southampton.

My client have designed and manufactured luxury products for there customers for over 45 years and are a highly-respected leader in their field.
The company have sites across the UK and a couple abroad, but you will be based in the Southampton Head Office (rare travel could be required in the UK only, but no more often that 1 day in 6 weeks+).
Your new role
As Recruitment Specialist, you will report to a supportive Group Head of HR and work alongside 2 x HR Advisors. This is a standalone, lead recruitment role with no direct reports, but with responsibility across the business.
This position is the recruitment lead / specialist for the business. The primary focus of the role is to hire skilled trades for the production function to ensure current and future resourcing requirements are met, these include: joiners, electricians, laminators etc (approx 70%). The position will also cover non-production roles and be the subject matter expert on all resourcing and recruitment and selection for the business, these roles include: head office employees, engineers, supply chain etc (approx 30%).
Due to the nature of the business within manufacturing and the requirements of the role, this position is office-based Monday to Friday.
Working hours: 40 / week Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm.
What you'll need to succeed
This opportunity will suit a practical, driven person who thrives in a busy working environment and who enjoys a varied role.
You must have extensive recruitment and selection experience either in-house working for an SME or within a recruitment agency environment, recruiting high volume and a variety of different roles (blue and white collar). You must also have proven experience of agency relationship management including review, negotiation on rates and agreement of terms and conditions. Experience of recruiting in manufacturing, automotive, marine or similar sectors will be an advantage, but is not essential.
The business have recently implemented a new ATS, so some experience of using and developing such a system is required too.
What you'll get in return
