Learning and Development Manager

Central London

Digital Marketing

£65,000 - £75,000

My client are a global marketing company based in Central London - due to huge growth both organically and through acquisition they are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join them. This is a standalone role currently, with the capacity to not only build out the offering of L&D, but also the team.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Develop a people centric learning solution for the employee experience; this will include building out the organisation's L&D offering, as well as career management, succession management, career management etc.
  • Conduct employee research to ensure the business is fully integrated in the lives of the employee
  • Deliver valuable people solutions for now and the future
  • Work in collaboration across the People teams to roll out a innovative People Experience strategy
  • Lead on delivery of workforce planning to identify current and future skills
  • Develop talent management plans to identify, grow and/or acquire organisational capabilities including effective career planning and talent development schemes
  • Provide thought leadership in career development and talent retention

Key experience/skills:

  • Previous experience in building a L&D strategy including talent management and leadership development
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of career mapping
  • Experience of working with agile / UX / consulting / marketing / customer engagement / systems
  • Ability to work in chaotic/ambiguous environment
  • Enjoy working in an individual contributor role
  • Previous experience in a media/tech organisation would be preferable
