A leading Financial Services firm, based in the City of London, is seeking a Resourcing Associate - FTC to recruit high calibre permanent and fixed term contract talent into the Corporate Functions, Impact and Investment Teams across London and Africa and South Asia.

Description

A Resourcing Associate - FTC to:

  • Managing the end to end recruitment processes for the Corporate Functions, Investment and Operations Teams up to manager level
  • Partnering with hiring managers assisting them through the whole recruitment process from the approval process, the role briefing and agreeing a resourcing strategy, through to candidate assessment and selection, offer management and on-boarding
  • Advise and implement innovative sourcing strategies using multiple channels including advertising, talent pooling, social media, recruitment agencies, networking and referrals, with a specific aim of increasing direct hire rates
  • Managing the interview structure, ensuring appropriate team engagement, assisting with screening and ensuring an efficient recruitment process is executed
  • Candidate management to ensure a great candidate experience from initial candidate engagement to offer negotiation, contract generation, background check and on-boarding
  • Provide highly consultative support to hiring managers to ensure that end to end recruitment is managed in a timely and proactive manner, with stakeholders regularly updated
  • Co-ordinate candidate / business feedback and drive decision making process
  • Working with the Resourcing Co-ordinators to ensure that all offer paperwork, background checks and new joiner information is sent out and completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure that invoices are processed and approved in a timely manner Oversight of the visa application process for international hires, ensuring a compliant process is adhered to
  • Ensure processes are followed in an appropriate and timely manner including approval to recruit and offer and tracked appropriately.

Ad Hoc resonsibilities include:

  • Lead and contribute to a range of resourcing and HR projects (e.g. PSL)
  • Support/cover for colleagues when on leave or have capacity issues.

Profile

A Resourcing Associate - FTC with:

  • Experience of high-touch recruitment within financial or professional or consultancy services
  • Experience sourcing for corporate functions and/or front office roles
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry with a breadth of experience across both practical and theoretical delivery of direct sourcing strategies whilst also understanding the right recruitment agencies to engage with for each opportunity
  • An understanding of the end-to-end recruitment processes and experience of implementing process improvements
  • An understanding of selection methodologies and best-practice recruitment and selection
  • An experienced interviewer
  • Comfortable with investment terminology; exposure to emerging markets would be an advantage
  • Experience of contributing to resourcing-focused projects an advantage
  • Focused on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders and candidates; Experience supporting/advising the business with writing/editing job descriptions is an advantage
  • Flexible approach to priorities and strong team working ethic
  • An innovative problem solver who will consider a wide range of options
