Great opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a exciting and dynamic business. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible to reviewing the HR structure and driving things forward in line with the companies vision.

My client is a fast growing business within the Facilities sector.

Description

  • Take ownership of the employee lifecycle and ensure the company ethos is reflected throughout.
  • Review and update the People Plan on a quarterly basis to ensure that it is aligned to and fully supports our business strategy;
  • Lead a performance culture that is focused on individual/team goals and training and development;
  • Overhaul our approach to recruitment and oversee its implementation.
  • Review HR policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure legal compliance.
  • Give counsel to line managers in a professional and supportive way so that they are able to manage their teams effectively and oversee any complex people issues;
  • Manage the Talent Management process to ensure that the leadership team own their actions and we retain talent in the business;
  • Co-lead change management and organisation development in a way that supports the business strategy and maintains engagement levels
  • Manage the HR budget

Profile

The successful HR Manager will need the following skill-set:

  • Bachelor's degree is minimum; Master's degree in business administration, human resources management, industrial relations, or a law degree would be advantageous;
  • CIPD qualified with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Held previous position of seniority, able to establish credibility and build department accountability.
  • Able to problem solve and demonstrate operational and strategic skills.
  • Experience of acting as a role model is essential and leading teams.
  • Comfortable in developing team members and empowering staff.
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen - partners with the business to deliver commercially focused people strategies.
  • Solid employment law knowledge and proven experience of applying updated legislation to a variety of HR situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven organisation skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Able to challenge the status quo and push back to senior management

Job Offer

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager paying between £55k - £60k or day rate equivalent, circa £250 - £290 per day PAYE.
